     CAN CBD MAKE YOU MELLOW

Cannabidiol is a compound found in the hemp and cannabis plant; it has gained attention since the state, and federal laws changed, thus increasing the production of products infused with CBD. Another well-known cannabinoid is THC tetrahydrocannabinol, also derived from the cannabis plant.  These compounds are effective, but the only difference is THC has a psychoactive effect which gives the user the ‘high feeling’. CBD is divided into three types of CBD isolates, also known as pure CB.; most come in crystal or powder form; however, they can be found in oil and cream. The full spectrum CBD contains all the compounds found in the plant, including THC, while broad-spectrum CBD contains all the content from the plant except THC. Therefore, the choice of CBD you make will determine if you will get all the health benefits of CBND or not.

Does CBD Cause Have A Psychoactive Property?

CBD cannot alter the user’s mental state because it has no effects like THC, although they are both extracted g from the same plant. CBD has many positive health effects, for example, reducing anxiety, depression, and stress, reducing pain and inflammation, and helping with some skin conditions, including dry skin, eczema, and acne. There is no way CBD is connected to high feelings, therefore, making it safe for use.

Reasons Some People Think You Can Get High On CBD

THC and CBD are both active components of the cannabis plant. However, CBD cab is separated from all other contents of the plant, such as THC. Following its popularity, people have infused it into products such as edibles, oils, and tinctures. CBD alone cannot intoxicate a person and thus cannot cause a high feeling. Also, CBD can be obtained from a hemp plant with no mind-altering effect. CBD derived from the hemp plant is legal, and the products should not have more than0.3% THC, a proven amount that cannot create psychoactive symptoms.

Can You Get High On CBD Oil?

As mentioned earlier, CBD can be infused in products including oil and creams. CBD oil is one of the most popular products used; it can be taken sublingually with vapes, the use of CBD edibles, or added to drinks and food. Most of these products are used as natural relaxers, which several studies on CBD have backed up. Moltke& Hindocha (2021) reported that CBD had reduced anxiety and depression among users, which is not equivalent to the high feeling marijuana causes. However, when CBD is taken in a high dosage above the one indicated by the government (0.3%), it can cause an uplifting effect, not the same high.

      CBD Versus THC

CBD and THC are compounds found in the cannabis plant, affecting cannabis receptors in the brain. THC activates these receptors causing the high feeling associated with marijuana.  However, CBD is the antagonist to the receptors in the brain, thus blocking the effect that THC causes.  The effect of these compounds on the cannabinoid receptor in the brain differentiates between the active components of the cannabis plant.

     Environmental Considerations

CBD extraction uses harsh chemicals which might damage the environment if traced to the end product. Similarly, the packaging of the product should be eco-friendly.

     Cost

Although most CBD products seem to be quite expensive, they are affordable. The arrangement of the prices varies, giving anyone a chance to explore CBD cream and oil. Also, it would help if you considered purchasing the bigger size of the cream to avoid purchasing it often.

    The Dosage

CBD creams do not need any prescription from the doctor, but the product should have the dosage and direction on how to use by the consumer. Most creams are dosage in milligrams; therefore, it is good for you to start with one of the lower milligrams and gradually increase if necessary. High-potency creams tend to provide 8mg per application.

Devinsk et al.  (2021) showed the most common CBD effects include the CBD change in appetite, diarrhea, increased fatigue, and change in weight. However, the side effect varies from one user to the other. Some effects are because of ingredients such as essential oil, which might cause skin irritation.

    Conclusion

CBD can be present in balms salves and transdermal patches. Since CBD oil is not soluble, it is hard for it to be absorbed through the skin. Therefore, it is advisable to use the good to leave it on the skin for quite a long so that it can be fully absorbed into the skin for it to be effective. After using the cream, you should not go to the shower immediately since the cream will be washed away by the soap and water, limiting the results. But for, those who cannot keep up with the smell on their bodies can choose to rinse it off.
