How to Make Essential Oils CBD Massage Oils

Everyone loves a massage well-done on their body that would leave them relieved. It is made possible by using CBD massage oil. Benefits of body massage include helping the pressure points to be stimulated, which helps your muscles relax and leaves your skin feeling rejuvenated. Body massage results include the feeling of bitterness, and it also helps you have healthy skin. Who wouldn’t love that?

There are several massage oils sold the market that can be used, but the survey shows that most people prefer their massage oils to be infused with CBD oil. You don't use any CBD oil, and you have to make sure that it is the right one so that your massage sessions leave you feeling satisfied.

How to select the best CBD massage oil

If you intend to get the most out of your massage sessions, you have to be very careful while choosing your massage oil. CBD massage oil is available in several varieties, and they do not act the same on all skin types.

That is why you need to know what your skin type is. Is it oily, dry, or normal? Finding it out makes it easier for you to choose the right base oil that will work together with your skin type. Below are some of the base oils you may find in the market.

Sunflower oil: If you use other oils and your skin is sensitive to them, sunflower oil is your go-to oil. It is good at skin smoothening since it adds a barrier to your skin towards irritating elements.

Avocado oil: If you have dry skin, you might consider choosing avocado oil. But if you have acne issues, it might increase sebum production, which is bad for your skin. You should be aware of this before you use this oil.

MCT oil: MCT is the short form for medium-chain triglycerides. It has been noted that MCT oil is among the best oils found in the market. It is because it infuses well with CBD oil, making it easy for your body to digest it.

Hemp seed oil: This oil comes from the cannabis plant and is commonly used as a CBD carrier. A lot of skincare products use them. Its disadvantage is that it contains hydrating fatty acids and can cause plumping in some people.

Why you should use CBD massage oil

Many people who have used the CBD massage oil have given it praise. If you have enjoyed it through ingestion, there is another way you can enjoy it, and that's through massages.

Many topical products such as lotions, conditioners, facial masks, and shampoos have CBD as one of their ingredients. When used on your skin, your system absorbs it, which interacts with the cannabinoid receptors, which help your body balance.

    CBD massage oil recipe

If you choose to make your own CBD massage oil at home, it is not that difficult. Having a CBD oil that is of high quality is one important step. According to Evans (2020), other important ingredients you need for your CBD massage oil include a double boiler, around twelve drops of other essential oils, CBD either in liquid form or in concentrate form, a glass container that is tinted, and your preferred carrier oil in ¼ cup.

    Choosing your CBD oil

If you are not aware, there are three forms of CBD: isolate CBD, full-spectrum CBD, and lastly broad-spectrum CBD. Isolate CBD is mostly preferred in massage oils since it doesn't have THC. It infuses very well in base oils, and it does not contain any smell hence making aromatic essential oils of effect. But that doesn't mean that it is the only one used. Other people prefer full-spectrum CBD and broad-spectrum CBD.

    Choosing your essential oils

Your massage oil can contain carrier oil and CBD only. Your oil can be even better when you add essential oil to it. It is because it adds aromatherapy to it and also nutritional value. There are varieties of essential oils that you can use, and you are not limited to a few. A few of the common ones; are lavender oil, rose oil, peppermint oil, cedarwood oil, and others. The list is long. Aromatherapy is what most people look for in these oils, but they also have other benefits, such as, if you want to relax, a minty fragrance might help you. By blending several essential oils, you might find what suits you this is according to  (Wilson, 2002).

    CBD massage oil making process

Under low heat, heat your double boiler. Add your preferred carrier oil and essential oil together with the CBD oil or your CBD isolate inside it. Then stir all of your ingredients gently to blend (Meng et al., 2018).

If you discover that your oil is too thin, this is because of your oil choices. Beeswax helps your oil to thicken so that it can have a balm consistency. After adding the beeswax, continue stirring and allow it to melt inside your mixture. You can add as much beeswax until you get your desired consistency. If you love your oil thin, there is no need for you to add beeswax.

You can then let your mixture cool down for a few minutes after removing it from the heat. Then take the tinted container glass or any container you have and store your massage oil there.

Before using your CBD oil, shake well. Some base oils like coconut oil might have made your massage oil solidify if you used it. If you notice this, warm it by inserting the container in warm water.

If you did not add any preservatives to your oil, make sure you use it within three months. If you want it to last longer, you can refrigerate it.

    Is CBD Exceptional To Anyone?

No. Anyone can use CBD massage oil to provide relief to their body. Whether you work in an office or as an athlete, you can use CBD massage oil. You have to put on the oil in the areas you feel require relief.

You can make CBD massage oil in the comfort of your home if you are aware of the ingredients required. By trying various carrier oils, you can find out which one suits you the best and settle on it. One thing that you are required to be watchful of is choosing the right CBD oil that has good quality. You can get it from a trusted vendor.
