HOW TO VAPE CBD OIL (EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW)

Vaping CBD oil involves taking in vapor. It allows users to enjoy rapid effectiveness since it is directed to the lungs and channeled to the bloodstream. Common CBD vape products include vape pens and cartridges. However, vaping exposes the lungs to lung diseases such as liver cirrhosis.

CBD oil is manufactured from different organic hemp plant extracts. The elements of the hemp plant used in manufacturing CBD oil include terpenes, tetrahydrocannabinol (CBD), cannabidiol (CBD), and flavonoids. CBD oil is taken in different ways depending on the user’s preference and how long they wish effectiveness to occur. Some of the common ways are taking it orally, sublingually, vaping, or adding it to your favorite meals or beverages. CBD oil is manufactured in three types; full-spectrum, broad-spectrum and isolate. The different types offer nearly similar impacts but are manufactured using different elements.

What is CBD Oil?

Research by Massi et al. (2006) explained that CBD oils are non-psychoactive products manufactured from either hemp or cannabis plant extracts. According to Landi et al. (2019), the two plants and other cannabis strains contain multiple elements, including terpenes, flavonoids, and cannabinoids such as THC and CBD. The extracts are isolated using various extraction methods, including CO2 and ethanol. Although ethanol is effective, it is likely to contaminate the end products by leaving some harmful solvents. Most manufacturers prefer using CO2 since it’s clean and effective. The three types of CBD include;

Full-spectrum

It’s manufactured using all the elements found in the hemp plant. Therefore, it bears terpenes, flavonoids, THC, CBD, and the entire range of other cannabinoids, which studies like Watt & Karl (2017) linked to the full entourage effect due to the synergy of multiple compounds. Full-spectrum CBD oil users can consume it in various ways, including vaping. However, although it is likely to offer an entourage effect, users should pay attention to THC levels. According to Food and Drugs Administration, THC levels in all CBD products should be below 0.3%, the amount found in the hemp and cannabis plants. This is because it contains intoxicating side effects that are likely to make its users feel anxious, severe headaches, and poor memory.

Broad Spectrum

It can also be vaped without the side effects of THC. It has all the elements found in the hemp plants, such as terpenes, flavonoids, and multiple cannabinoids but lacks THC. The study by VanDolah et al. (2019) linked CBD to the synergistic or full entourage effect. Therefore, vaping broad-spectrum CBD oil allows one to enjoy the entourage effect. Using broad-spectrum CBD for various health and wellness benefits such as sleep and alleviating pain would work best since it is void of THC. Vaping broad-spectrum CBD oil allows the user to enjoy the related benefits rapidly since the smoke goes directly to the lungs and is channeled to the bloodstream.

Isolate

Isolate CBD oil is suitable for people going for the benefits of CBD oil only. It is crafted using pure CBD. It leaves out other elements of the hemp plant, such as terpenes, flavonoids, and THC. Vaping isolate CBD oil makes its users avoid THC-related side effects.

Is Vaping Safe?

Vaping is the ability to inhale the vapor from CBD oil or other intoxicating drugs. It is common for young people since they find it’s cool and helps them get the effect of various drugs rapidly. Vaping is unsafe since it exposes its user’s lungs to collapsing or various harmful diseases such as liver cirrhosis. Although the FDA was mandated to regulate some CBD products, it doesn’t regulate vape products. Although sublingual use of CBD oil is regarded as one of the most effective ways of yielding rapid effectiveness, vaping is better. Sublingual use involves placing a few CBD oil drops under your tongue and holding it for about 60 seconds before swallowing. There are various ways to vape CBD oil. Some include;

Heating CBD Oil

Most people who can’t afford CBD vape pens or cartridges prefer heating them to enjoy the vaping experience. They place a considerable amount of CBD oil on a spoon and heat it from the lower side. By doing so, the heated CBD oil turns to vape, which they inhale directly. This allows them to enjoy the rapid effectiveness of CBD oil. This type of vaping is common to people wishing to trigger psychoactive side effects of CBD.

Using CBD Oil Cartridges

Cartridges are slim cylindrical vape tanks filled with CBD distillate or vape juice. They are lightweight and designed in a cigarette style for easy use. Most of them have in-built batteries that are rechargeable, and some are disposed of after running out of power. They contain hundreds of puffs before having them disposed of.

Refillable CBD Vape Pens

Unlike cartridges already filled with CBD juice or distillate, vape pens allow the user to refill them as soon as it’s done. It is offered in a simple style and contains a battery tank that requires the user to replace it after it’s used up. They are cost-effective and produce more vapor that gives the user a better experience and yields the rapid effectiveness of CBD oil.

Pod Vapes

Pod vapes are nearly the same as a refillable vape pen. They are designed uniquely to produce more vapes and allow the user to refill whenever the CBD distillate or juice is used up. Unlike other vape products, they handle more e-liquids, making them suitable for people who enjoy vaping even while traveling. However, they are in various sizes, although most look like JUUL.

Benefits of Vaping CBD Oil

Although vaping is not legalized in the USA, considering while consuming CBD oil has some benefits. Vaping CBD oil allows the users to evade the awful natural taste of the hemp plant. Vaping CBD oil also allows the users to enjoy rapid effectiveness. However, people using vape products should be cautious about the concentrations. Highly concentrated CBD oil vape products result in CBD-related side effects because they get to the bloodstream faster than other methods. The impact of vaping CBD oil takes effect within 20 minutes.

Conclusion

Although vaping is not legalized in the USA, most youths find it pleasurable. It involves taking CBD oil in vape form. Since it is gaining prominence among most youths, some CBD companies have opted to offer vape products such as cartridges and refillable and disposable vape pens. Vaping allows CBD oil users to evade the awful natural taste of the hemp plant. Also, it allows them to enjoy rapid effectiveness since the smoke is directly into the lungs and bloodstream. However, using vape products has some side effects, including lung damage.
