Hair type: short, faded part

Dallas-4-2-e1397011376504-1024x1024Pros: "For this style, American Crew Pomade gives great hold and allows for easy manipulation when styling. My hair looked like this the entire day. And my wife really loves the smell of it."

Cons: "The only thing I didn’t like about the pomade is that I prefer a higher sheen with my products. This would be ideal for a guy who likes a more matte finish."

Start with towel-dried hair. Take a quarter-sized amount of the pomade into your hands and evenly spread the product through your hair, roots to ends. While still wet with product, make a deep side part and then comb the hair with a fine-toothed comb out from the part in either direction.

American Crew Classic Pomade Review

American Crew Classic Pomade Review

Pros: "I've tried a ton of other products before that haven't worked for me, so I was nervous American Crew would let me down as well. I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised! After finally trying American Crew, I can confidently say it's the best pomade I've ever tried. It keeps my hair styled all day long, even when I'm busy and rushing around outside. The girls love it, the guys love it, and when people ask me what product I use, I proudly tell them American Crew."

Cons: "I'm running through it too fast!"

Start with towel-dried hair. Work a quarter-sized amount of pomade and small amount of American Crew Firm Hold Gel through your hair, roots to ends (to help with application and give even stronger hold). Using a brush, style your hair to the side and then lightly push it back. The brush helps give the hair some lift, while the pomade and gel keep it in place.

Dean: Going Out 'Do

Hair type: Thick, medium-length Mohawk laid to the side.

Pros: "I thought American Crew Pomade was a quality product. It made me feel very Rico Suave and macho. I also really liked that it didn’t leave my hair all sticky and gross like other products I've tried. And it smells great!"

Cons: "I honestly can't think of any."

Start with damp hair. Work a liberal amount of pomade all over the hair, roots to ends. For a side-laying Mohawk, first sculpt the hair so it sticks up like a true Mohawk (to get the overall Mohawk shape), then curve it over so the ends rest against one side of your head.
